I'm ranting...beware!

Ok, I have become so incredibly frustrated with this subject, I decided the only way to get it off my mind is to blog about it. So, that's why I'm here tonight...ready to blog about my HORRIBLE cell phone service!

I was formerly a Cingular customer. I have been for five years and I had excellent service. I could probably count the number of dropped calls I had on one hand. It was incredible! Their commercials on TV were accurate, they really did have outstanding service.

A few months ago AT&T took over Cingular and since then my service has been much less than spectacular. I have had numerous dropped calls, more than I can count on all my fingers and toes!

What I hate, is that AT&T is using Cingular's advertisements and slogans to promote themselves, but IT'S NOT TRUE! False advertising if you ask me.

I attempted to contact AT&T through email last week and all I got was an automated response. I tried to respond to that email and I got another response telling me that I can't contact them using email, yada, yada.

Yes, I can change companies, but I currently have a contact and to get out of that I may have to give a kidney or my left lung, but honestly, I'd rather just suffer with bad cell phone service until my contract is up and I can switch.

I would give my tonsils AND adenoids or my appendix though...I wonder if that would work...hmmm....

You really should complain on the phone, over and over and over. They may let you out of the contract if they have enough calls on record that their service is not living up to its standards.

It's madness how cell phones drive our lives. I'm sorry you're having such problems with the "new" Cingular.

Hi,
I just found your blog through my Mom, Mrs. Who.

I am also Cingular, but I have (luckily) not had too many problems with my phone since they switched over. Wonder if it's your phone? Maybe you just need a replacement or need it cleaned or something.

I was having problems with mine keeping a charge, so I called CS, and they walked me through cleaning it, and it has worked like new eva since.
Looking forward to reading through your archives;)
