Yesterday we decided to take Hoss to his first movie in a theater to see The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. The movie was cute and definitely one I would see again.
The behavior of my 27 month old was not cute and I definitely do not want to see that again! Being the curious child that he is, Hoss was not interested in sitting quietly in his seat, but instead he enjoyed sitting on the disgusting movie theater floor, trying to kick the seat in front of us (which had a calm child sitting in it) and, my favorite, reaching his hand between the seats in front of us trying to steal another child's crackers.
I don't believe we will be attempting another theater movie for quite some time.

Oh goodness! My mom has said I was about two and a half when she took me to see Cinderella, but I can't imagine taking Moose to a movie, he is way to squirmy. Maybe in a few months?...
Oh no! Now I'm worried to take Simon, he's younger than Jake.....
Glad the movie was good though, I'm excited to see it too :-)
Wow! Thanks for posting this. I was thinking of taking my little man to see that movie soon, which would be his first in a theater - he's 34 months, but I'm not sure he's ready. I am tempted to try and to leave if he gets too crazy.
I'm sorry your movie theater experience was not so great!
