Works for Me Wednesday -- Stockpiling

Within the past year I have learned a lot about being frugal. I especially have learned about stockpiling items I can get for extremely cheap by using my coupons and playing the grocery and drugstore games. It's a new passion of mine and I want to show you what you can do too!

First, let's start in the laundry room! Here is my stockpile of detergent and fabric softner.

While we are there, here is my stockpile of batteries. Having a kiddo, we are always needing batteries. It seems like every toys uses a million batteries and quickly!

Now let's travel on to the kiddo's bedroom. Here is the stockpile of Pull-ups and wipes in his closet.

The biggest stockpile I have is stored under the sink in our bathroom. We don't have much storage space so I have organized the cabinets as best I can.

And of course, my make-up drawer!

I purposefully omitted the cabinet under my kitchen sink. It is very disorganized, but know that I also have stockpiles of dish detergent, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, and lots of air freshner!

Stockpiling works for me! For more Works for Me Wednesday items visit Shannon!

Jessica!! I've been reading your blog through a reader. I can't believe I've missed your header. That's absolutely adorable!

As to your post, I wish I could figure all those deals out and finding coupons. Congrats on your stockpiles though! That's great!

I love to have a need and instead of running out to get it...I just go to the stockpile and get it.....

Great post, thanks for sharing.

Wow! Do you have particular stores you frequent? I just started doing CVS and I love it.

I've got a huge box under my bathroom sink full of all kinds of stuff like toothpaste, mouthwash, pain meds, etc. from CVS. And then in our storage room we have candles, glade plugins, etc. It's a pretty fun game for me too!

I love stockpiling, however, like you I don't have a lot of space to do it! So I found that getting some clear Rubbermaid containers with lids has helped to organize my stockpile where I know exactly what I have! Then I put the like things together and stick the lid on it and stick in my cabinet or under my bed and I am able to see what it is each bin without having to rummage thru everything looking for something. :)

That's quite a supply you have going! The only thing I stockpile is toilet paper and toothpaste, and even then it's only 1-2 extra. Write more about it and tell us how to save money - goodness knows we need it with prices skyrocketing!

I love having a stockpile! Our food stockpile is a bit bigger than non food, but that's just what works for us.

I've started doing the same thanks to Grocery Game. :) It's amazing how much cheaper it is once you have a good stockpile going. :)

Just started stockpiling and i love it. I can't believe i used to run out at the last minute to get 1 thing for double the price of the "many things" i could have gotten,by planning and couponing.
