UPDATE! Bloggy Giveaway -- FREE yogurt!

It is time again for the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival and as is my custom, I am posting my giveaway later than I anticipated. But it's a great giveaway with lots of winners!

If you are one of my few "regulars" then you know that I try to be frugal. My frugal attempts have been noticed and I have received 15 coupons for FREE (up to $3.63) ONE package of Yoplait Kids Cup Yogurt OR Yoplait Kids Yogurt Drink. This is my son's FAVORITE yogurt. Each coupon expires 10/28/08.
**UPDATE: I JUST GOT 15 MORE COUPONS, I WILL GIVE 15 PEOPLE 2 COUPONS EACH!**

Rumor has it that I may receive more of these; however, at this time, I will give one coupon away per winner, which means I will have FIFTEEN winners!

To win, just leave a comment, BUT I have one request, leave one tip on how you try to be frugal (or how you would if you were trying to be frugal). If you don't leave a tip you will not qualify for the giveaway. You do not have to be a blogger, but be sure to put your email address in the comment so I have a way to contact you for your mailing address.

Comments will be closed on Saturday April 26th at 2p.m. EST. I will post the winners by Sunday April 27th!

So get ready to test your luck. Oh, but if you live in California, Idaho, Louisianna, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota or Tennesee, you may not be interested in this giveaway. The coupon is not good in those state. Sorry!

Good Luck! And don't forget to check out all the other giveaways here!

My daughter's a big yogurt fan. :) One way I try to be frugal: I use swaptree.com to trade out my old books and CDs for new ones.

I make our bread because where we live it's way too expensive to buy it at the store (I guess that's part of living in the boonies). But along with being cheaper it tastes good too! :)

My kids love yogurt too! My tip on being frugal - Well, my dad and I have competitions on who can use the most coupons and get the highest % off when we shop (he's retired, so he usually wins, but it's fun!) I make my daughters vege soup once per month and freeze it in small containers that I can take out and put in a thermous. I use cloth napkins so I don't have to buy tons of paper ones. Thanks for the opportunity! kristi at pacific dot net

My biggest money saver has got to be with coffee. I drink ALOT of it and so does my husband. At $3 a cup we'd be poor in no time. So, we bring a thermos and travel mug to work with us and probably save about $50 a week each!

Yum! I love yogurt. I buy my fruits and veggies at the city farmer's market on the weekends - and I buy whatever veg is on sale and then tailor my meals around that.

michelle said...

I make a lot of our meals from scratch using sale items, items purchased in bulk and stock-piled, and simple ingredients. I have also started making my own cleaners and use things like vinegar to clean a number of things around the house. It is much cheaper than bottles of harmful cleaning products. I would love to be entered in your giveaway.

One frugal tip I use is search online forums to see if there are any good online deals vs b&m deals. And I also clips coupons to save money when the advertisements come out weekly.

Frugal is as frugal does that's what I say (did that make any sense? I posted waaaay too many of these comments with the last 24 hours attempting to be frugal see?). Anyway, we do not eat out unless we have a coupon for the restaurant or we have a gift card, that really helps, me not look at the food and say "I could have made this myself for x amount of dollars!". We also use homemade dishwasher detergent which is a lot cheaper than store bought.

Marly said...

It's hardly a new tip, but as often as possible, I try to hit the "coupon hat trick" where I'll combine a sale with a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon. On a very rare occasion, I'll hit a "grand slam" with a rebate as well. But alas, those are few and far between. :)

I am a frugal mom. I have to shop and cook for 8 people in my house. One of the ways I cut down on costs is by making my own furniture polish. I love it, and it's environmentally friendly!

1 cup of olive oil
1/2 cup of lemon juice

Shake and spray! FABULOUS!
I dont' mind my 15 month old being around when I use it. It's a great way to clean the wood in your home!

I try to be frugal by shopping the sales paper at my local store, and buying locally as much as possible. We don't have a WalMart or Sams close to us, so I try to stay here and be creative as much as possible. Thank you! We love yogurt. :-)

We practice frugality by cleaning out our closets 2x a year and using hte things we don't wear or have outgrown to resew things we do need. I recently used old clothes to create a rug, apron, bags for christmas gifts and bibs. A great way to get cute fabric without the cost!

Tip to be frugal - I drive the car with the best gas mileage when I don't have my son with me. I don't need all the conveniences of my Highlander without my son, so I drive the Corolla. My e-mail is anaj06@mchsi.com.

Love your blog and the yogurt giveaway! What a great idea!!!

I save money by using a local rug manufacturer's retail outlet store to buy rugs for our home. Seriously, they sell the rugs for a fraction of the real retail. A rug that would cost $69 at Wal-mart would sell at the outlet for $20. And the large 8'x 10' I bought for $200 would have sold for retail at over $800!! A great savings!

Thanks again!

My tip is watering down creamy salad dressing. Blue Cheese and ranch are always too thick to coat salad evenly anyways, so I add a little water. Makes it more healthy (cause you're eating less) doesn't change the taste (unless you ad a A LOT of water) and makes it last longer, which makes it cost a little less.

My great tip (lol, if you could call it great)! I've signed up for kizoodle, where people swap their items for free. I use ton's of coupons with every trip to the store. I search online for FREE samples, you never realize how well those are.
